My name is Demitri Magas and I am an American actor, model, and creator of Greek descent represented by TALENTX ALEXANDER. A Midwest native and now based in Chicago, I continue to work on a variety of professional plays, ad campaigns, and various film/ television projects

Currently

I am excited to announce that I will be returning to Drury Lane to play the role of Red in their production of Father of the Bride. Performances start on April 8th and conclude on May 31st. To buy tickets and learn more about the show visit this link.

Actor

I received my BFA Acting degree at Millikin University and currently work on various film and theatre projects in the Chicago area. I have had the great opportunity to be a part of a variety of projects, ranging from Shakespeare to Neo-Commedia. This spring I will be returning to Drury Lane and performing as Red in Father of the Bride.

Model

In high school, I enjoyed taking photos with my friends at around my hometown. What started as a fun hobby grew into something more serious when I began modeling for art tech students' portfolios. In 2022, I signed with my first print agency in Chicago and have been a lifestyle model for various ad campaigns from DoorDash to Intuit Mailchimp.

Creator

When I'm not performing, I enjoy creating new artistic experiences for both my peers and my community. I've had the pleasure of assistant-directing various intimate theatrical productions and have taken on administrative roles in community-based theatre organizations, including Shakespeare Corrected and 1901 Productions.
